Hi, my name is Clarissa and I'm a busy self-employed mom and wife who is always looking for ways to save time and money, make life easier - and keep me sane in the process!

I always say that I’m not the type of person who can sell ice to an Eskimo (excuse the cliché). I’m just not a natural salesperson. But, give me a product that I truly believe in…one that impresses the socks off me and actually does what it claims to do, and I’m on board. Take my money!

I started Econo Towel (now known as Econo Me) in February 2018 after having spinal surgery and not being able to work for 8 weeks. I’m a graphic designer, and for me, not being able to earn an income was a real blow. While lying in my sickbed in 30 degree heat with my neck brace on, I came to the realisation that I could no longer put all my eggs in one basket, and needed to look at starting another company which relied, not on time spent at my desk, but rather, incredible products that could help others…but what could I sell? The idea scared me…but with prayer and what felt like a lightening bolt moment, I realised that I already had the answer… The Chillax Ice Towel, which had so faithfully kept me cool during my long recovery, would be the first product of my now extensive range.

And so Econo Towel was born, and over the next few years it would grow as I tried and tested additional products which I slowly added to my range – but only once I was certain that they met my stringent standards.

Today Econo Me boast a diverse range of products which have elicited rave review from those who have purchased them. My clients trust that when they buy from me, they’re buying a product which is of superior quality and has the wow factor.
